• Managing the product portfolio: building up the product portfolio, SKU rationalization, developing product marketing programs, defining priority products, developing new products, models, visual display, modifying the product, developing the goods classifier, organizing and planning promotions (two main groups – Hand tools and Fasteners, 1500 SKU)
• Managing the brand portfolio: supervising the brand strategy, supporting and forming the brand image, developing the new product launches to support the brand growth, positioning branded goods on the market, new products presentation, shelves presentations (two main brands Der Maler, Workman)
• Developing pricing policy: competitive product pricing in the terms of brand position, target profitability and ROI, developing system of discounts, cost and profitability control, promotional and sales pricing
• Long-range demand and sales forecasting in assistance with Sales Managers, volume forecast and financial analysis, sales analysis and planning, estimating the purchasing budget, stock planning
• Purchasing policy: rationalization the suppliers list, searching potential suppliers, visiting specialized exhibitions and factories, negotiating and signing the contracts with current and new suppliers, bargaining, researching a settlement on conflicts (18 foreign suppliers)
• Supervising the goods quality: developing quality control system, preparing product quality specifications, training the quality checking staff, regulating the quality reclamations with suppliers and clients
• Managing the product group team: staff recruiting, training, coaching, supporting the staff, organizing the team work, motivating, setting the goals, coordinating the team activity, developing quarterly/monthly plans, controlling the plans execution
• Coordinating the marketing research system: research planning, analyzing consumer and competitive trends, analyzing existing and new categories, monitoring market, consumers, competitors, and suppliers, searching the new products and markets, monitoring the raw materials markets
• Coordinating the advertising activity: developing printed output (catalogues, brochures), participating in development POS-materials, press-ads, shelves, preparing and publishing articles about products in specialized editions, preparing product presentation and training materials
• Preparation of marketing and commercial annual/quarterly/monthly reports, marketing department coordinating
