Group Of Companies one of the largest exporters of ready made
Garments and importers of various kinds of products from Soviet
Union with given responsibility to market Tyres, Tea, chemicals
Rubber, Plastics, Metals, Rubber scrap, etc in Pakistan, within this
Time the volume traded was around 100 Million US $.
Later on was sent to Moscow as General Manager to procure more
Items for Pakistan and other countries of the world.
1989-91, after the collapse of Soviet Union the group also was on
Declining graph, and got an opportunity to work for British based
Company Broadway Computers and given responsibility to Import
Computers from Taiwan, Singapore and Hong Kong and sell in
Russian Federation and the CIS states, but because of tough work-
ing conditions the company collapsed and closed there operations.
1991-1998, Got an opportunity and joined another British based
Company called Rostel Holdings Limited and was appointed as
Country manager and given responsibility to sell there world class
Products which included Cadburys, Mars, Snickers Chocolates,
Percy Daltons, Burtons Biscuits, Trax, Boomer, Bang Bang
Chewing Gums, Tetley, Twining teas, Revlon and Christian Dior
Cosmetics, Mattel Toys, Barbie Dolls, Xavier Laurent, Ronson
Lighters and there products, Panadol, Aqua fresh Tooth paste,
Rothmans Cigarettes, and so many other world class products,
Trade volumes from year first which were 10 Million US$ were
Brought to more than 60 Million US$ per annum.
In 1998 the Russian economy crippled and crashed, accordingly
The group also suffered and was declared bankrupt.
1998-2007, the group started Plywood, Hardboard, Chipboard and
Timber business, which became successful and worked with
Seven different Russian Mills and Exported there products
To various Countries like UK, USA, France, Germany, Canada
Finland, Italy, Sweden and neibouring Baltic and CIS states. The
Turn in the first year was 1Million US$ and was brought up to
10 Million US$.
In the meantime the technology boom started and got an oppor-
tunity to Import and introduce Mobile Phones from Lotte Trading
Korea, Bird Mobiles from China, Sendo from UK and created own
Brand name Called FLY in Russian Federation, till date the com-
Pany is working successfully with a turnover of more than 50
Million US$ per annum.
2003-2008
The company also got an Golden opportunity to buy there own
Plywood and Hardboard Mills in Bryansk region about 460 Kms.
From Moscow, the mills was in a bad shape and I was appointed as
The Chairman of the Board of Directors and CEO of the Mills
And given task to restart and upgrade the whole project which
Was doing around 100000US$ worth of business per annum, with
Investment of 3 Million US$ for up gradation the mill started
Manufacturing products with an increase of more than.500Million
US$ worth of manufacturing within one years time and till date
It is increased to 24 Million US$ per annum with high quality
Both sanded and un sanded plywood and hardboard.
