Provide a generalist HR service to the staff of 70 and implement Human Resources strategies aligned with the needs of the organization. Areas of expertise include:
Corporate Strategy
§ Design initiatives and provide advice and guidance to senior management in regards to performance reviews, employee relations, retention strategies, benefits and compliance with Federal and State employment laws
§ Create, maintain and implement necessary changes to company policies and procedures
Recruiting
§ Lead recruiting efforts for the organization
§ Source and maintain a qualified pool of applicants via a variety of sources
§ Ensure hiring managers and team preparedness during the interview process and that interviews are conducted efficiently and professionally
Performance Management
§ Designed and implemented a highly successful talent assessment program with the company culture, character and needs in mind that allows senior management to accurately identify company strongest and weakest employees
§ Conduct regular performance reviews to keep employees informed and motivated
Employee Relations
§ Partner with employees and management to communicate various HR policies, procedures, laws, standards and government regulations
§ Respond to and resolve employee relations issues such as employee complaints, conflicts and personal situations
§ Serve as an employee advocate while keeping organizational values and needs in mind
Benefits
§ Perform benefits administration to include 401K; medical, dental and disability insurance; COBRA; FMLA; and communicate benefit information to employees
§ Revised company health insurance plan and negotiated group rates to save 15% of the premium costs while maintaining the same level of coverage
