Start-up of logistics department in the company. Structured and defined the core elements of the logistics department, requirements set by the customers towards Order Desk and planning. Full inclusion into HR issues (hiring all people, developing people, trainings, evaluating the performance, implementing diversified KPI matrix), proven by staying with the same core team for more than 3 years. Full setup and organizing the lean relationship with local OEM factory.
Tasks:
Supply Chain Management: - following corporate policies and best practices, - implementation of new projects, updating to local rules and conditions; - re-engineering logistics schemes and operations.
- Staff Management: - building effective motivation schemes, - developping subordinates, - evaluation of top-talents, - personalized training approach.
- Planning. With all factories across the world: - demand planning, - supply planning, - advanced planning operations, - supply chain design, - continuous work with senior production planners, - preparation for high season sales, link as “factory-warehouse-distribution matrix”, - creating and introduction of Planning system and its rules.
- Distribution of both import, local and export products: - tenders with companies participating in supply chain and cross divisions, - establishing full operations from zero "company-factory-customer", - participating and leading in different micro and macro projects, - establishing smooth ”inbound/outbound cross points”, - close participating in “on-shore” business as a consultant, - searching for new initiatives, ideas, opportunities related to SCM.
- Managing inventory: - replenishment orders, - "request urgent" orders; - "new"-"old" products planning, - "obsoletes" stock actions, - products category designing.
Control and managing of Remote warehouses: - inbound/outbound cross planning, - procedures, local supply chain designing, - optimizing in terms of time, level of service, money, tracing “out” products, - control over internal locations best categorizing; - warehouse necessity calculations and simulations on monthly basis.
- Customer Service support and new services designing and implementing: - certificates, - transit tracking for the customers, - market researches for the customers, - shipping documents handling, - close interconnection with logistics re-designing schemes form the customers, - providing other support, - internal interdpt. Company support, - building business processes between different functionalities.
