EMPLOYMENT HISTORY March 2002 – January 2024: Multimedia Producer / Head of English Language Teaching, BBC Moscow bureau. - Running the ELT internet project: I planned, produced, published and promoted learning material. Achievements: 1) as Head of the English Language Teaching Department, I managed to transform Learning English (non-political project) from a small-scale mandatory website’s index into an exciting mini-site - currently one of most popular multimedia resources among Russian-speaking audiences of the BBC; LE has become an important tool of the BBC brand's promotion. 2) I initiated, planned and implemented two fascinating multimedia projects: video quiz show with students participation "Pyatyorka po anglijskomu", a joint project with the Maurice Thorez Institute of Foreign Languages, HSE University and MPGU, and cartoons series "English In A Minute". 3) I have launched BBC Learning English community in Vk.com. Not only have I updated it with new learning material, but also I have regularly communicated with its subscribers via chats. As of 1 Jan 2022 the community has got over 375,000 followers. - I liaised with marketing and business development teams on expanding and maintaining the network of partner websites with an aim of promoting BBC's educational content in Russia; - I initiated, organised and conducted large-scale ELT presentations and seminars at universities, schools and companies' offices in Moscow, St-Petersburg, Voronezh, Tomsk, Novosibirsk, Ekaterinburg; - I held ELT training sessions for colleagues in the Moscow bureau with a view to improve their bilingual skills. - 2003-2006: I сovered for office manager (administrative and financial duties). 2013-2014: taught English to senior students (English For Specific Purposes, including Business English), private school with extensive learning of English and economics (Moscow). 2014 - taught English to the 4th year students (courses: "Pitfalls Of Translation" and "Business English"), Moscow Institute Of Foreign Languages. 2003 - date: providing language coaching to groups of students and individuals. June 1999-June 2001 Presenter-editor, broadcasting company of ALROSA Co. Ltd, city of Mirny, Yakutia, Russia: • ran education and youth TV partner project. July 1996-June 2001 Teacher of English, Branch of North-Eastern Federal University in the city of Mirny (Yakutia) Achievements: - I launched Open-Learning Center at the Foreign Languages Faculty. - I was the Faculty's thesis supervisor and my students passed with distinction. - I successfully conducted a series of teacher training courses in Verkhneviluisk, Lensk, Suntar and other towns. QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING 2003-2019, BBC Academy, London: underwent various training courses, including 'Say What You Mean' (an intensive programme which explores the English language needed for participating in and chairing meetings, presenting ideas and opinions, and communicating clearly in a range of contexts). April-August 1998 Language Institute of the University of Hull (UK): English language practice in the framework of TACIS Student Exchange Programme. EDUCATION 1991-1996 Novosibirsk Teacher Training University: graduated from the English department of the Foreign Languages Faculty. COMPUTER AND OTHER SKILLS - FinalCut Pro and Adobe Premier (video production), Microsoft Word, MS Outlook, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Audition, Zoom - I am keen to learn new skills. OTHER ACHIEVEMENTS - I have proven experience of social media channel growth and successful community engagement. - I am able to work under tight deadlines, in a rapidly changing environment. - I have a wide range of contacts in academic circles.
