    ExpressMoney is a microfinance company that has been operating since 2012 and has an annual turnover of 2 bln. rub. |~$25 mln.| and 300+ members of staff. Offline business: the network of 120 branches across Russia. Online business: 3 services / trademarks: ЭкспрессДеньги.рф, Займы.рф, and ExpressMoney.com. The company is regulated by the Central Bank of Russia. My Role: I engaged in crisis management with implementation of new digital technologies, leading to overcoming by the company of losses in Y2022, making at that time 32 mln. rub. |~$400 thsd.|, and achieving in Y2023 an annual profit of 80 mln. rub. |~$1 mln.|, which is the 2-nd highest profit posted by ExpressMoney in its 12 years existence. Note: services of an Acting CEO were rendered to ExpressMoney on behalf of Life LLC |a company with concentration on services in technological sphere and business management|, following the Agreement for provision of information, consulting, and management services. Goal: Technological transformation of the company from a single-product credit-providing entity to a financial supermarket with highly profitable modern digital services. Solved issues & highlights of accomplishments: 🔹 Entirety of 4 online channels for customer acquisition: Context, CPA, API, and Target were proposed and personally launched (all combined presently generating 5 thsd. new clients / mo., who are altogether borrowing 40 mln. rub. |~$0.5 mln.| / mo.); company overall expenses were reduced by 70% for getting new and returning clients; 🔹 Commercial initiatives were suggested and launched: 1) Commissions earning 4 mln. rub. / mo.; 2) Monetization of traffic from rejected loan applications, bringing 4 mln. rub. / mo.; 3) Insurance providing 2 mln. rub. / mo. (In total, the stable cash flow of extra profits was formed for ~10 mln. rub. |~$0.1 mln.| / mo.); 🔹 Functioning of offline business, the network of 120 branches, was improved, increasing the aggregate amount of loans by 50% from 40 mln. rub. |~$0.5 mln.| to 60 mln. rub. |~$0.7 mln.| / mo. Additionally, working groups were created across business units, as well as Financial Advisors with more responsibilities were introduced; 🔹 Algorithms of work with customers across online channels ЭкспрессДеньги.рф, Займы.рф, and ExpressMoney.com were perfected, resulting in a higher speed of process of filling in and approving applications. Also, CR (conversion rate) was improved, partners’ EPC (earnings per click) got higher, Deep Links (transfer of client forms via links) were implemented, and traffic volumes mounted; 🔹 The company launched on the most popular marketplaces (via offering loans in POS |point of sale| and BNPL |buy now pay later| channels), enabling it to increase brand awareness and build up a share of more conservative clientele in its portfolio. Also, it facilitated access to additional traffic and increase of the number of PDL loans via returning POS / BNPL customers.

    ZazaPay – is a phone app solution for cashless society for the Middle East region: company accepts cash via a network of agents regionwide and enables its users to pay via mobile for in-store / online purchases, mobile top up, internet recharge, gift cards, utility bills as well as allows sending / receiving money, paying salaries and using more e-payment services. My Role: I was working from the day 1 of ZazaPay since Aug. 2020 in capacity of Acting CEO, being the 1-st person hired by the Founder. During 1-st year of ZazaPay I enabled creation of a solid basement for company’s future success: 1) $1.5 mln. OpenWay customized product (software in Sber, VTB, and many top global banks) was completed – I served as the only in-charge person for project administration from ZazaPay side from start till completion; 2) $1 mln. Datacenter was created – I personally designed architecture, ordered building of premises and purchased all best-in-class equipment of Dell, Vertiv, PaloAlto, Cisco, as well as arranged installation and deployment of staging environments working with integrator companies of all top-notch software solutions of VMWare, Oracle, Microsoft, Linux, Zendesk and OpenWay (Dell 2021 Award for the Best Datacenter in the Middle East); 3) $0.5 mln. Team work was performed - I hired and was directly supervising on a day-to-day basis a team of developers building FrontEnd and BackEnd parts of our App, and working on technical enhancements for OpenWay solution. Along with that, I contributed to PCI-DSS certification, and establishment of 3 CashPoints (local bank-style branches) for ZazaPay Launch in August 2021. I have a track record of setting up new companies from ground zero and obtaining all regulatory approvals worldwide. Recently, I carried it out in the following locations: Europe, Russia, Central Asia, and the Middle East. I build local businesses and expand into international markets.
