Position: Software Engineer, Intel® Integrated Performance Primitives library project (IPP).
• My role is direction leader within distributed 5 members team. Develop and keep up of matrix computation library is my responsibility. I determine main product’s direction; have a key role to take risk and customer orientation work, support manual guide and customers. Collaboration with other teams for produce an environment of project is included in the field of my responsibility. Test cases determination and performance requirements are also the part of my work.
Achievements:
The library project has been completed successfully. Two generations of product were delivered. The increase of customers and thanks amount is 30%. Customer support has been started. Manual guide for customers and a lot of C and low-level codes have been developed. The product has been included to Intel® IPP library. Product now in use by Adobe, Intel U3D..
• Another part of my activity is target setting and research in the new product life cycle.
I determine customer’s needs in Ray Tracing 3D algorithms; analyze existing methods, designing and implementing the new height performance primitives for 3D graphical algorithm. Collaboration within distributed team members and stakeholders; participation in building of project’s infrastructure is field of my competence. Besides that I schedule the milestones and product life circle.
Achievements:
The developing Binary Space Partition (kd-tree) algorithm implementation has been started. Test cases and performance requirements have been delivered. An infrastructure for new project has been build. The product will bee include to next generation of Intel® IPP library. Product now in use by companies such as DreamWorks, Schlumberger…
• I took part in image and signal processing library project. Designing and optimization low-level codes for IA32/IA64; implementation and develop failure and performance tests were my task. Needs determination and creation the special project environment software were my responsibility.
Achievements:
The performance of image and signal primitives has been improved. A lot of codes have been included to the Intel® IPP library. The tool for low level monitoring, like VTune, for Intel® Pentium III, Pentium IV, Itanium has been developed and supported. Codes are in use by Microsoft, Adobe, and other multimedia companies.
