Seasonal buying budget execution for 35 shops
Budget and Shops’ Assortment:
• Shops’ KPI analysis in order to identify anomalies and/or problems and emerging product requests.
• Analysis of the sell-out, targets of shop performances and collection of data regarding the stores
• Drawing up of the seasonal budget of the shops for collection, class of product and sizes.
• Analysis of the current season stock, method of price discount, actual merchandise in stock.
Product and Buying:
• Managing direct sales to licensing stores in accordance with purchasing budget agreed with GUESS; presenting the collections to the customers underlining themes and images according to the assortment guide as well as advertised items.
• Assistance to the customer during the buying campaign and check of consistency with the optimal typical order, order line, sizing, purchasing budget, estimated proportions, wearability problems, order entry.
• Monitoring the arrival of new merchandise to the shop, the opening of the season, the sales period.
• Supervision and control of special licensing projects.
Merchandising and Visual Merchandising
• In co-operation with the partners, managing the presentation of the product in the windows and inside the shop on the occasion of the opening of new stores and for seasonal openings.
• Training of the staff regarding the merchandising and visual techniques and the use of the structures.
• Monitoring orders of window and consumption materials., checking delivery of window materials, consumption materials and advertising
• Participation to the stage regarding the new merchandising techniques and following training of the staff.
• Discussion with the customer of commercial priorities of the store in order to suggest an appropriate merchandising.
Organization of the licensing shops:
• Inspection of the shop realization and functioning of the structure.
• Organization and management of the point of sale according to the standards.
• Transmission of practical know-how and development of the sales techniques.
• Periodical inspection to the store for staff training, the updating, intervention for special problems, organization of events and merchandising check.
Staff Training
• Participation in the selection of the store manager and store staff.
• Training seminar of the staff before the opening of a new store about shop organization, product merchandising and visual merchandising techniques and computer software.
• Participation to seasonal opening, presentation of the new collections, explication of the trends, style and fabric to the staff.
• Training of the staff regarding the standards of service and sales strategies.
• Organization of seminars for new store managers in headquarters.
• Transmission of the use of the store software and PC connection with the headquarters.
