• Acting as Key Account Manager for both Russian and Western clients on recruitment, leasing, and outstaffing issues
• Acting as client liaison for searches in Russia's regions
• Recruiting engineering candidates in the oil & gas and power generation markets for both Russian and Western clients
• Providing complete selection, screening, and client consulting services; successful placement of candidates while not compromising client interests
• Supervising subordinates (analysts), troubleshooting, and ensuring group cohesion
• Worked with the following engineers: drilling, geological, well testing, workover, cementing, mud, instrumentation & control, electrical, mechanical, building inspection, etc.
• Worked extensively with power generation and power plant construction companies besides companies in the oil & gas field
• Achievements: I quickly learned, in a trial by fire, how to speak in Russian with any engineer about practically anything. I gained a tremendous amount of experience conducting technical interviews in Russian across every possible field of engineering, especially oil & gas, industrial facilities construction, commercial construction, and electric power/heat generation
