Managing user support team (15 people) for the Project (10+ remote locations);
Control of general IT tasks performed by IT staff (system, network and databases administration, software development, backup solution, security setting, evaluation and optimization of IT resources, etc.);
User Support of home office (200 workstations);
Keep tracking asset database;
Developing and testing disaster recovery;
Virus protection implementation and support;
Developing and testing software/hardware standards;
Troubleshooting software, hardware and telecom problems;
Maintaining & simple programming Nortel PBX Systems (MERIDIAN PBX);
Installation, setup, and configuration Compaq network of servers, DLT Tape Backup Systems;
System administration of Windows NT 4.0, MS Exchange 5.5;
Working with IT- team to implement the remote connectivity via ISDN, Satellites, T-1, E-1, and dial-up via cellular phone;
Working with an integrated team to develop customized financial and administration applications;
Procurement functions: identification and maintaining key partnerships/relationships with external vendors;
Working with integrated project team from major companies such as Chevron, Arco, BP, Amoco, Shell, and Kazakh Oil.
