Management day-to-day operation of the accounting department including the brokers sales commissions administration for 13 branches, G/L, A/P, A/R, Trust accounts, audit, royalties, forecasting, HR management, analysis and monthly statistics, budgets, cash and record management.
• Performed month-end closings, assisting with financial statements preparation according a GAAP, budgeting, revenue accounts reconciliation, monthly statistics and management reporting, royalty fee accruals and payments, allocations, real estate sales awards/ accounts reconciliation, 1099, inter-company reconciliation, CAM recon, rent, credit card charges, cash flow forecast, participated in internal and external audits, assist with new acquisitions and systems consolidations.
• Worked on projects to streamline commission process, review sales reports/statements, track and review commission plans and payroll / bonus programs, maintained database, ensured timely payments, and accurate posting, managed all communications to relate to commission calculations and confidential information, reward & recognition programs maintenance and reconciliation, agents billing, commissions checks, G/L review and analysis, wires, bank deposits, inventory control.
• Provide quality customer service support with respect to the resolution of inquiries and problems.
• Supervise staff, performed on the job training to less experienced staff plus interview and hire process.
• Report to CFO, provided leadership for special projects and research issues.
