The main responsibility of department`s activity is supply each construction project with imported goods according to contract specification within strictly limited time period.
The range of goods includes: lighting (Italy, Spain, Portugal, USA, China), living furniture (Italy, Spain), office furniture (Korea), luxury bathroom sanitary (Eng-land, Italy), kitchen`s furniture (Italy), decorative leather (Spain), ceramic tile (Spain, Italy, China), floor covering (Spain), doors (Italy).
Main focus:
- provision of all construction projects with imported goods according to contract specification
- development of procurement strategies, including evaluation of new suppliers
- interaction with European, Asian and US manufactories to maintain and develop long-term business relationships
- managing the team of international cooperation department
- attending international fairs (I Salone Milano, Feira Habitat Valencia, Cersaie Bologna, Verona Fiera)
- visiting manufactories in order to supervise production process, especially in case of complex projects
- negotiating purchases with foreign suppliers in terms of technical points, best price, delivery time, aftersales service; concluding contracts
- analysis of competitive environment for formation most favorable commercial proposals
- valuation of profitability of potential and fulfilled projects
- selection the most favorable logistic scheme for each project (sea/auto/ railway/air), warehouses control
- interaction with customs brokers providing them with all necessary documentation (invoice, parking list, declaration of conformity, declaration dual use, good`s description, etc.)
Selected achievements:
- Import Department gained recognition and popularity amongmain European and Asian suppliers within first year of its operation.
- During 2.5 years 12 large construction projects have been supplied with all necessary import materials. The approximate cost of each construction project is over 3 000 000 EURO
- Introduction and growth (by ProductLifeCycle) of luxury furniture/lighting sales to individuals, what implied:
- design and support web-site
- negotiations B2B, B2C
- determination of the assortment depending on the demand in frame of mar-keting mix (4 Ps)
