Responsibilities:
* Identify business opportunities by identifying prospects and evaluating their position in the industry; researching and analyzing sales options;
* Maintaining relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance;
* Hosting clients min twice in a week to showcase Resort and service
* Visiting competitor's websites and competitors' property to identifies current industry trends, market activities, analyzing and summarizing information;
* Assisting Director of Events and Director of business development in organizing brainstorming and preparing Special MICE Events Offers.
* Assisting Sales Team in organizing and attending quarterly departmental cold Sales Call in a various local companies as well as Sales Mall Blitz in a local Malls
* Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks via Linkedin, Facebook, attending clients events;
* Cross training in different departments of the Hotel;
* Successfully handled events from proposal to event execution of luxury car launches, Super car event, International insurance Incentive groups, beauty products and luxury goods trainings, pharma conference groups, oil and gas international and local companies, local corporate and governmental company events, etc. Average size of the group between 50-150 guests with 100-400 RNs
* Experienced on handling Indian Destination Weddings' requirements together with Site Inspections with Wedding Planners and families directly.
* Attended sales calls in a GCC region as well as Shangri-La Sales Missions in India (New Delhi & Mumbai) and Kazakhstan/Russia; ``Road show'' with Oman Air in Qatar;
* Attending Shangri-La's trainings: Shang Care and SUPEX, OSHAS, HACCAP, Fire & Life Safety Trainings, as well Customer Centric and Emerging leadership training.
* Work with Opera, Delphi, Salesforce, prepared Groups resumes and BEOs for events
Personal Achievements
* In 2013 year our Sales and Marketing Team has been recognized as the best S&M Team among 100 Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts worldwide
* I have confirmed large Pharma Group from Russia and CIS countries (400 RNs and 200 participants), 1st Russian Conference group since opening of the Hotel
* In 2015 year I have been recognized by CEO of the Company as one of the best Sales employee by exceeding my quarterly target by 140 %
* Since 2015 year also handling FITs from Russian/CIS & Baltic Countries Markets in order to increase the revenue and number of guests from Russian speaking countries Since February 2017 is in charge not only of MICE Sales but also MICE Events
* February 2016 year (during vacation) has been invited to assist VIP Incentive group from Russia/CIS and escort TOP VIP Russian guest who had an event in Sri-Lanka for eight (8) days with a group of 200 guests. Me & my husband were assisting organisers in creating personalised program for VIP guest during her stay in Sri-Lanka
* Have been nominated and received Silver Award Letter of the Guest Delight Program of the Shangri-La Hotel more than 10 times
