A $600 million US Government Funded Project to Engineer, Procure, Construct and Commission a Heat and Power Plant in Krasnoyarsk Krai, Russia. Project includes four coal-fired L.P. Boilers producing 478 GC of hot water, 117 MW H.P. Boiler-Turbine-Generator with support facilities.
Responsibilities Included:
➢ Coordinate with the Engineering Manager and manage engineering oversight at ZPPEP (Zheleznogorsk plutonium production elimination program)
➢ site while maintaining continuity for all ZPPEP engineering efforts, including site document control
➢ Coordinate with DI and General Contractor (GC) and oversee all site engineering activities relevant during construction, start-up and custody transfer to the O&M entity to ensure compliance with PPM, PEP and achievement of project environmental, health, operation, and safety goals
➢ Study and analyze submitted documents (drawings, diagrams, explanatory notes, etc.) and confirm their compliance to engineering decisions approved at the Detail Design phase, as well as their compliance to Russian Federation norms and standards
➢ Support General Contractor (GC) construction and start-up teams, as required, especially field walk downs and engineering changes
➢ Approve/Manage generation of engineering and design change notifications, field change notifications (FCN), non-conformance reports (NCRs), requests for information (RFIs), field start-up reports (FSRs) and any other engineering change processes that result from construction and start-up activities, in a timely manner
➢ Coordinate with contracts, controls and project management to help maintain cost, schedule, value engineering, design implementation efforts
➢ Generate site engineering reports, as required
➢ Attend site coordination meetings as required to contribute information and maintain knowledge of currents needs and status
➢ Fulfill all relevant activities previously maintained by the deputy engineering manager and as directed by Engineering Management
