• Manage and co-manage MICE accounts in the following geographical markets: India, Russia, China, Hong Kong.
• Prepare group proposals inclusive of accommodation rates, conference spaces, food and beverage arrangements, leisure activities, teambuilding and present benefit statement.
• Conduct hotel site inspections for product familiarization for Event Organizers and PCO’s both during sales and operational process.
• Entertain Event Organizer or PCO whenever appropriate to show goodwill and friendly approach and work towards securing future events.
• Manage contractual process, co-ordinate banquet and conference meeting arrangements for contracted groups.
• Prepare and submit weekly/monthly/quarter report covering sales activities and production to Director of Sales Events, Director of Sales & Marketing, Hotel Manger and General Manager.
• Cooperate with the event organizer or PCO in all aspects of the pre-event stage leading to the finalization of a day to day program.
Achievements
• Individual revenue results 2007 at USD 506,000.
• Team effort resulted in a 28% increase in room nights in 2007 against 2006 with a 23% in room revenue.
• Growth by market: Russia from 0 groups to USD 197,000 room revenue in 2007; India – 52% up from 2006 in room revenue.
• Our team of 6 event sales professionals achieved a revenue result of USD 4.5million, which is 23% over group room revenue budget for 2007.
