Bachelor's qualifying project: Title: Modeling a 3D-object from its orthogonal projections, based on genetic algorithms. Task: Manifestation of the intellectual methods of optimization in a graphical modeling. Solution: The main idea of project was the presentation of 3D object like a set of primitive objects (atoms), which could develop on the basis of genetic algorithm. Also, was defined a some parameter of survival, what determined by orthogonal projections of the object. Thus, it was possible to create an absolutely random population of "atoms", what was building a target object, like cells are building a complex organism. Used technologies:.Net framework (Windows Forms, Threading, ADO.NET components), Microsoft XNA framework for graphics core realization. Implementation language: C# The project was presented on a cathedra of "theory and technologies of programming" and was assessed in 95 out of 100 points. I have no any official software development experience, because while I was studying, I needed a stable job with a flexible work schedule and job in IT-company was well suited. But the software development is my passion ever since i finished secondary school. Thus when I was in 10-11th class, I learned the programming language Pascal and then, when I enrolled in the University, I began studying more popular language in those years - C++. More than six years of software development taught me to think abstractly, analyze the tasks, break it into subtasks, evaluate last and create flexible application architecture. The most important skill what I acquired is the ability to write quality and thoughtful code. This skill includes the whole range of other skills: knowledge and ability to apply object-oriented design and architecture, design patterns (in a measure of course), refactoring, the ability to read code and look ahead, preventing possible errors and allowing for further expansion of the application.
