On the position of the Finance manager, I was responsible for Regional Finance in Middle East, Near East and Africa. Key Functions: - P&L Performance (revenue, operating profit) - People management - Financial analysis and planning (large region with multi-millions revenue) - Business analysis (pricing, market reviews, capital investment...) - Supporting Regional Management to achieve the region’s financial targets Responsibilities: • Annual planning of the Region by 3 Sub- regions (Middle East, Near East and Africa), quarterly forecasts, monthly actual vs plan/forecast variance analysis, • Expense management: month-end overview responsibilities including working closely with accounting and all respective departments to manage the expenses in a timely and effective way • Preparation and tracking of monthly regional performance reports • Maintain understanding of dynamics of pricing, commissions, new products and business cases within the sub regions (transactions and revenue projections, direct fixed and variable costs estimation, profit impact estimation, ROI/IRR calculation) • Partner with business teams (sales, marketing, operations) to provide informative, useful and analytical information to improve business results • Maintain effective finance team to provide the required support to achieve business targets • Interface between sub-regional leaders & central finance function
