Monitor Front Office personnel to ensure guests receive prompt attention and personal recognition. Supervise the Front Office team to ensure optimum occupancy and average room rate in order to maximize revenue. Work in partnership with Reservations, Sales & Housekeeping Departments to ensure guest's needs are determined and met in regard to room requirements. Develop relationships with clients, return guests, group contacts, etc. To provide maximum personalized guest service. Approve upgrades and special amenities. Conduct comprehensive monthly departmental meetings. Oversee work schedule for sectional supervisors & colleagues ensuring adequate coverage in line with projected occupancy and guest movement at all times.
Develop and implement initiatives to further enhance levels of service and guest care within the Front Office departments. To ensure timely, efficient & professional welcome and check-in is provided by all Front Desk Colleagues ensuring customer satisfaction. Handle customer complaints and feedback according to standards ensuring complaints are recorded when necessary.
Ensure that regular departmental meetings are being held and that open communication is taking place and outstanding issues are followed up. Daily monitor guest feedback, communicate all feedback results and make recommendations for the hotel's improvement.
