Обязанности и достижения:
Thermal and mechanical design and modelling of high speed and high power dense electrical machines, power electronics and battery packs for advanced generation and propulsion systems for aerospace, automotive and marine fields. Research/Designs carried out by the use of Lumped Parameters Thermal networks (LPTN), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), FEA and analytical approach. Design and commissioning of experimental facilities for cooling of both electrical machines and power electronics. Extensive experience in compiling technical reports. Directly liaising with industrial partners; past works included companies such Dassault Aviation, GE Energy, Safran, Siemens, Cummins, GKN. Suitable for working in large multidisciplinary projects but also independently. Private consultant for large industrial firms. Supervisor of both undergraduate and postgraduate students. Also reviewer of journals for The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET), member of Technical Review Committee for international conferences.
