Дополнительные сведения:
I hold an honours degree in applied mathematics and have completed formal training through a
Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) as a mathematics educator.
My experience extends across diverse educational settings, from Montessori classrooms to
conventional institutions teaching Cambridge IGCSE and A-level Mathematics (CIE). Recently, I
completed the Category 1 training for the IBDP Mathematics Analysis and Approaches program. I have
also served at a skills college, focused on empowering students from disadvantaged backgrounds,
ranging in age from 16 to 35. Until recently, I was employed at a special needs school, catering to
children at various levels on the autism spectrum.
At present, I live in Moscow with my wife and one-year-old daughter, and work as a Mathematics
Educator in the ESL department at an international school
During my time as a university student, I began tutoring children. Through this experience, I realized
that truly effective teaching goes beyond merely engaging a student's cognitive abilities. It should also
connect with their innermost essence. This understanding leads to an important question that
educators often ponder over: how can we adopt a more holistic approach to education?
I have found that helping a student achieve inner peace and balance, showing them the natural
mechanisms at play during learning, and assisting them in developing a systematic approach to
overcoming obstacles often yields greater results than merely teaching mathematical formulas or
basic arithmetic. When asked about my profession, I prefer the term “mentor” as it better
encapsulates my belief that education should nourish both the mind and the heart of the student.
