Обязанности и достижения:
Purpose of the project: refurbishment and construction of heat power plant in Seversk, Tomsk Region, Siberia. During this project, 9 boilers generating total heat capacity of about 500 M Watt, two condensate turbines with total electrical capacity 225 Matt, new heat line and water treatment system were built and commissioned. My responsibilities included:
• Supervising over conference calls and technical meetings to discuss the Project progress status and arising issues
• Resolving problems with designers, vendors and other parties invited
• Coordination of design documentation development activities performed by Washington Group, “Rosatomstroy”, designers (TomskTEP, PITs UralTEP and ect.) and equipment manufacturers
• Participation in inspections to equipment (boiler, turbine, electrical, etc.) vendors
• Resolution of technical and administrative issues with manufacturers' representatives
• Collection of current information on the status of equipment fabrication and engineering issues
• Review, preparation and issue of requests for procurement of equipment and materials and scope of work (adjustment of procurement scope, delivery, conditions, ect.) for the entire system (turbine, boiler, electrical, I&C, ect.).
• Participation in technical meeting and resolving of technical issues
• Equipment and materials market study, obtaining additional data about equipment, comparative analysis of market prices
• Identification of equipment and materials which prices exceed the market price
• Drafting comments and recommendations to reduce price of equipment, materials and works
• Finding ways to expedite equipment procurement and delivery to the construction site
• Interaction with equipment manufacturers to expedite delivery
• Preparation of prompt data on the equipment fabrication and delivery status
• Preparation of technical documentation for Washington Group office and US DOE
Achievements:
• 100% design activities completed, detailed design documentation has been developed to enable the start of construction and installation of purchased equipment and materials for the total amount of 230 million dollars
• Cost efficiency of USD 1,500,000 dollars was achieved due to reduction of expenses for equipment and materials purchase.
