    Held the position of General Operations Manager at a manufacturing facility that produced disposable dishes. Responsibilities, and job skills included: ● Negotiating cost of materials with suppliers and managing an optimum resolution for the price and delivery of materials ● Using strategic sourcing while evaluating the suppliers and the materials’ quality and rates ● Keeping track of supplier performance ● Searching for and securing vendors, i.e. sourcing initiatives from locations convenient for logistics purposes ● Exposure to RFX (RFI, RFP, RFQ) in last role and internship as well ● Experience in forecasting the demand and requirement for materials in the last role wherein fluctuations were made to accommodate production demands ● Managing inventory levels with a JIT approach ● Experience in dealing with SLAs at the relevant level on both ends ● Managed contracts with suppliers and kept the terms updated in regards to SLAs and ensuring compliance ● Followed relevant SOPs in the business practices in the last job ● Well versed with PO, invoices, accounts payables, accounts receivables, etc and also designed the format for the PO and invoice in the internship ● Studied and observed the practices of lean management (and Kaizen) in the production by eliminating waste and ensuring maximum efficiency, and cost reduction ● Keeping track of market trends, which in this case was in regards to the type of materials purchased ● Managing the delivery schedules for timely delivery of finished goods, and doing so via 3PL services
