Educational program of our spesiality so very various and large. It means that we can be engaged in the most different subjects connected with electric railway transportation. The basic directions in our speciality are the electric equipment, electric converters, electric machines. Also we have knowledge in the field of a mechanical part of electric railway transportation.We get acquainted with modern kinds of high-speed trains, such company as Alstom Transport, Bombardier Transportation, Siemens Transport Systems, Virgin Trains, Trenitalia, Firema, AnsaldoBreda and others. The most interesting to me for studying are control systems of modern electric trains. We were on a practice at electrohard ware department of repair of locomotive, where we got acquainted with electric devices used on a domestic rolling stock. We receive knowledge on microprocessor technics and control systems of modern electric trains. My speciality is very interesting to me, but I wish to increase my professional opportunities, to have knowledge of wider structure and an orientation. To me it is important not only the technical device of trains, but also characteristic work of all railway system as a whole, principles, properties of its organization, traffic safety and cooperation of the companies for realization of the general purpose.
