Lead Project Engineer Electrical instruments & Controls

• Lead Electrical & Instrumentation Engineering portion of the project with full ownership of engineering activities, schedule and document release ensuring adherence to project budget, quality & timelines; • Coordinates project technical needs with the Project manager, Engineering discipline heads, Process engineering group, other departments (including Construction & Commissioning, Supply Chain, Tendering, Quality Control), Vendor and the Client; • Development Electrical & Automation Overview Diagram at the tendering stage and determining engineering design battery limits and scope of supply ESD, DCS and PLC systems, Switchgears, MCC and UPS cabinets, Electrical equipment (Heaters, Fans, Motors, Damper Actuators etc.), CEMS, Gas Analyzers, Instruments, Valves and auxiliary electrical equipment; • Preparing bill of quantity in field of automation and electrical components at the tendering stage. Support procurement department in equipment cost evaluation to form project budget; • Estimation of man-hours per project, as well as scheduling and timing of documentation release - as part of project budgeting; • Coordination of automation and electrical documentation release by a multinational team with matrix structure across different time zones, mostly the Swedish, Polish and Chinese branches of GE Power Company. Document responsible (as a final approval “Valid for construction); • Participating in HAZOP study and preparation HAZOP actions tracking sheets in fields of automation and electricity • Participating in SIL analysis and LOPA. Determining reliability data of technological unit components and SIF architecture for ESD instruments (CO, HC, O2 analyzers and critical temperature transmitters); • Preparation descriptions of control system and logic, descriptions of control philosophy along with control loops and cause & effect diagrams as a input for programming ESD, DCS and PLC systems; • Coordination of the primary automation documents execution by Controls Engineers such as Instrument List, Valve List, I/O list, technical specification for HMI screens collection etc.; • Negotiation of exchange signal interfaces between GE and Customer systems, exchange signals between ESD, DCS, PLC and MCC systems along with auxiliary logical devices with Modbus protocol of data exchange, settings, thresholds and alarms messages lists; • Coordination of preparation technical specifications, data sheets and subcontractor data requirements lists (SDRL’s) for electrical and instruments equipment by electrical and controls engineers (Purge air systems, Sealing air systems, Silo equipment, Switchboards, MCC’s, grounding, lighting, PLC cabinets, UPS cabinets, motors, analyzers, transmitters, control and on/off valves etc.); • Take final responsibility for selection of sub suppliers in conjunction with the procurement department basis on purchase orders final approval. Final bids (from equipment, materials, service suppliers, engineering design subcontractors) evaluation until PO to be placed; • Drive and managing subcontractors design scope (Such as Working and Emergency lighting, Lightning protection, HVAC, Fire alarm and extinguishing systems, Grounding, Electrical rooms etc.) and then also integrate solutions into project process conditions; • Consulting subcontractor design organizations in accordance with the Customer technical requirements in terms of design solutions; • Monitoring the implementation of technical documentation by subcontractors and final approval of documentation in accordance with the contract requirements as well as for compliance with the standards and technological process; • Coordination with programmers of PLC subcontractors in terms of improving and modifying a user application program. Checking, corrections and final approval HMI manuals, HMI faceplates, programmer, administrator and operator manuals; • Coordination of the electrical documents execution by Electrical Engineers such as Load list, Single Line Diagram, Wiring diagram, Connection Diagram, Cable List, Bill of electrical equipment and materials, Electrical Equipment and Instruments arrangements; • Detailed development of hook up drawings for instruments; • Design of plans for laying cable routes and cable constructions. 2D drawings and conceptual 3D model; • Remote participation in FAT and SAT procedures. Close out punch lists to obtain Factory Acceptance Certificate and Site Acceptance Certificate; • Remote support the site constructions and commissioning engineers during cold and hot commissioning procedures through troubleshooting, claim management supporting; • Participates in design and/or technical reviews (internal/external); • Cross-check Operating Instructions; • Participation in the Operation and Maintenance Manual preparation for whole technological unit; • Participating in preparing performance guarantee test procedure documents. Global projects: - ARCELORMITTAL TEMIRTAU JSC – Iron and steel plant (Sinter machines technological gases cleaning unit). EP contract. Full automation and power supply of the electrostatic precipitator with conveying and pneumatic dust transport system including unloading into the silo, as well as gas ducts upstream and downstream the electrostatic precipitator. Integration in existing «H» redundancy client-server system; - ORLEN LIETUVA - European Refinery plant (Sulfur degassing unit). EPC contract. Full automation and power supply of the electrostatic precipitator with a pneumatic dust transport system including unloading into the silo, as well as gas ducts upstream and downstream the electrostatic precipitator and bypass line. With the possible content of carbon monoxide and hydrocarbons hazardous concentrations, along with the high temperature of the gases at the outlet of the Fluidized Catalytic Cracking Unit.- Август 2013 – июнь 2017
