When I was 23 and fresh from university, I was lucky enough to have embarked upon my long-term career in Nalco. I am glad to have picked up lots of things that would have been impossible elsewhere throughout the following two years. Living and breathing water treatment chemistry and technologies, I am a quick and apt learner who never shies away from a challenge. I have a penchant for burning the midnight oil conducting jar tests, doing research, doing the maths, reviewing lots of data trying to identify a multi-million error. My perseverance usually pays off. I am known for my autodidactism, unimpeachable command of the English language, and my reliability when something goes awry. Among my strengths is my 'back wheel' technical skillset as well as my knowledge of chemistry. AKA/Misspellings: Pavel Tashnikov, Pavel Tasnikov. Specialties: Inorganic chemistry, water treatment. Have two products successfully implemented. The implementation of flocculant at a universal rail machine mill scale loop has enabled a customer to achieve a 40% reduction in TSS concentration. The implementation of de-emulsifier at the same loop rendered it possible to achieve a 33% better oil reduction, thereby ensuring less frequent shutdowns and greater profitability for the customer.
