Previous positions in this company - Documentation manager, Engineering consultant Main duties: Create new demonstration and tutorial examples for the developed computational fluid dynamics software, focused on real applications in various industries. Create 3D models for new examples in SolidWorks and CATIA V5. Perform fluid flow and heat transfer analyses using all products of the FloEFD family and SolidWorks Flow Simulation. Supervise and coordinate a team of technical writers and engineers creating the user documentation in English (Tutorial, User’s Guide, On-Line Help) for the SolidWorks-integrated CFD (computational fluid dynamics) software Flow Simulation and FloEFD; for FloEFD.V5 – CFD software for CATIA V5 and for FloEFD.Pro - CFD software for Pro/ENGINEER. Projects and achievements: I created a wide variety of new tutorial examples, ranging from model of a CPU Cooler with rotating fan and air-cooled electronics enclosure, to moving valves and oil absorbers. After I had taken a basic course in MSC.PATRAN/NASTRAN, I supported the development of the tutorial for a third-party module for transferring the flow and heat transfer analysis results to MSC.PATRAN. Under my supervision an Illustrated Handbook providing additional insight into the advanced modeling capabilities such as rotating reference frames, cavitation, condensation and real gases was created. Also I was fully responsible for creating and delivering a full set of the on-line user documentation for SolidWorks Flow Simulation versions 2007, 2008, 2009 and the FloEFD line of products. As an engineering consultant I adapted the user documentation to the new supported CAD - CATIA V5.

Main duties: Designed and developed medium-caliber artillery ammunition (HEAT and APFSDS rounds) and design documentation; supervised and performed development testing of full-scale models of low-speed projectiles (components of aircraft munition), including testing of a special “soft catcher” for these projectiles. Created 3D models in SolidWorks; assisted in integration of the CAD software SolidWorks and AutoCAD into the production cycle; performed engineering fluid flow and structural analyses in COSMOSFloWorks and ANSYS DesignSpace. Created illustrative and advertising materials - videos and large format posters with photo-quality images of the products under development. Projects and achievements: I created full 3D models of a HEAT and APFSDS artillery rounds and performed structural and aerodynamics analysis of these rounds in ANSYS DesignSpace and COSMOSFloWorks, resulting in some critical design changes. Also I had proposed and implemented new designs for some of the elements of the test bench for low-speed projectiles
