• Setting up Audit function from auditing stores to the level of providing picture on the level of internal control in the company
• Managing the performance and development of the audit team of 7 employees
• Setting up a 5 years strategy of audit department
• Prepare an annual risk based plan of internal audits
• Setting up an audit committee with the aim on finding the resolution on main issues
• Setting up the follow-up process influencing the changes of main issues
• Performing store audits, audits on internal services and strategic audits
• Educate business on the means of internal control in their daily work
• Lead the projects or consult business on improving level of internal control in stores and in service departments.
Main achievements:
1. Increase the area of audit coverage from stores to the whole company adding audits in internal service departments (development/construction, supply chain, purchasing, IT, Finance, HR) and strategical audits influencing the future of the company.
2. 5 employees of internal audit were promoted for higher positions
3. Increase of audit recommendation implementation from 49% up to 79%, issuing main changes in construction, purchasing, supply chain.
