Major scientific interests: Mechanism of bacterial cell response to different kind of stresses, formation of dormant and non-cultrurable cells of non-sporulating bacteria, their resuscitation and study chemical and physical factors controlled these processes. Study of dormant Mycobacteria tuberculosis cells in connection with elucidation of mechanisms of latent tuberculosis.
