- Managed a budget for marketing and sales on defined territory
- Initiated the startup of business unit in Russia, identified, hired and supervised key employees (3 persons, then 2 added),
- Coordinated the establishment of the warehouse (arrangements w/landlord, security)
- Initiated the establishment of the training center for modern irrigation in Moscow, Russia; participated in curriculum design and implementation
- Participated in 3 day training for VRI (variable rate irrigation) understanding, performed hands-on scanning with EM38 scanner for soil variability.
- Coordinated sales on the international market with focus on Eastern Europe and part of Asia (Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan etc.)
The volume of sales increased 10 times in this period
- Traveled regularly (40%-60% of time) to meet or host company’s key customers, dealers, and business partners
- Recruited new dealers, performed the sales training sessions for dealer’s salesman
- Calculated or evaluated center pivot and lateral irrigation system design for dealers and clients (pump head, mainline pressure loss, application rate etc.)
- Presented Reinke company and different approaches to industrial irrigation at the seminars, exhibitions and field shows
- Developed promotional tools: brochures, videos, advertising
- Wrote articles about irrigation techniques, scheduling and published in the industry related magazines
- Provided agronomical consultations (water, fertilizer and pesticide application) to the farmers (mostly potato and vegetables) of different levels in Russian-speaking countries
